WHY YOGA FOR KIDS?

Yoga has a number of benefits for children. The practice cultivates self-esteem and develops creativity. Yoga improves balance and strength and teaches body awareness. Classes teach students self-expression and help with self-regulation. Parents have said that they notice less anxiety and more ability to handle change. 

For younger yogis, the practice develops gross and fine motor skills. For older children, it helps them learn to be calm and self-confident in an increasingly competitive world. 

YOGA FOR TEEN ATHLETES

Yoga is an excellent accompaniment to athletics. There are a number of benefits for teens who play sports, including breath awareness and a reduction in anxiety. The practice can also aid in injury reduction and recovery. A regular yoga practice can help teens become well-rounded athletes.
